Leviticus 23:39–43

YHWH gives Israel something physical to do during Sukkot: dwell in booths. But He also tells them why.

Read Leviticus 23:39–43 carefully, paying particular attention to verse 43.

1. What does YHWH want future generations to know and remember?
2. Why do you think YHWH gave His people a physical practice to help them remember?
3. What has YHWH done in your own life that comfort, routine, or time can make easy to forget?

Don't only prepare a place or a schedule for Sukkot. Take some time today to remember the faithfulness of the One who brought His people out.
