REJOICE
Deuteronomy 16:13–15
Sukkot is not presented merely as a solemn obligation. YHWH tells His people to rejoice.
Read Deuteronomy 16:13–15 and pay attention to who is included in that rejoicing and why.
- Who does YHWH say should participate in the rejoicing?
- What reasons for rejoicing do you find in the passage?
- What might it look like for you to intentionally come to Sukkot ready to rejoice before YHWH—even if everything in life is not perfect?
Biblical rejoicing does not require pretending that life has no difficulties. Prepare your heart today to recognize YHWH's goodness and receive His appointed time with joy.
