DAY 1 OF 7

Family, we're coming back to Ephesians 4.
We've spent time asking why Messiah gave gifts to His Body. Last week we worked through Romans 12 and began thinking about the different members of the Body and what the LORD has entrusted to each of us.
Today we're going to keep moving through Ephesians.
But don't bring Romans into the study yet.
First, let's hear what Ephesians says.
READ THE WHOLE THOUGHT
Read Ephesians 4:13–16 several times today.
Don't try to explain every phrase yet.
Pay attention to where Paul says we're going.
What is supposed to happen to the Body?
What words describe maturity?
What words describe immaturity?
What changes as the passage moves toward verse 16?
For now, just read.
TODAY'S WORK
Read Ephesians 4:13–16 at least three times.
Then answer one question in your journal:
What does Paul say the Body is supposed to become?
Write what you see from the passage.
You don't need to explain how it happens yet.
Tomorrow, we'll slow down and look more carefully at what is actually there.
