Question: What Do We Need to Understand?
Yesterday we practiced seeing what is actually in the text. Today, let those observations become questions. Good questions slow us down and expose where we may be assuming something the passage has not yet shown us.
TODAY’S STUDY
1. Review yesterday’s observations.
2. Write down the questions they raise. Ask: Who? What? Why? How do I know?
3. Choose the three questions that would most affect how you understand Romans 12:3–8.
CLOSING
There is wisdom in being able to say, “I don’t know yet.” Don’t rush past the question just to have an answer. Keep your three—we’ll begin following the evidence tomorrow.
