ONE LORD • ONE FAITH • ALL SCRIPTURE
What we don’t believe

Clear distinctions.
A pastoral posture.

Theological labels can obscure as much as they explain. This page names positions we reject so that our confession of God, Messiah, salvation, Israel, and the life of faith can be understood accurately.

Fully God.
Fully man.

These distinctions matter because they protect the identity of Yeshua and the one God revealed in Scripture.

01

The deity and humanity of Yeshua

We reject any theology that denies that Jesus Christ is truly God and truly man, including Unitarianism, Arianism, Docetism, Modalism, Eutychianism, Nestorianism, Tritheism, Pneumatomachianism, Monolatry, Gnosticism, or any ideology that denies His deity or humanity.

Grace is not earned.
Obedience is its fruit.

01

Works-based salvation

Good works and Torah observance are fruits of salvation, not the means to salvation. Torah is not a path to justification or works-based salvation.

02

Torah as justification

Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Yeshua alone. Justification is God’s declaration that the believer is righteous in His sight.

03

Universalism

We reject the teaching that all people will be saved regardless of faith. Salvation is by grace through faith in Yeshua alone.

04

Prosperity gospel

We reject the prosperity gospel—the teaching that faith guarantees material wealth or comfort.

Covenant remains.
The invitation stays open.

01

Replacement theology

The Church has not replaced Israel. God’s covenant with Israel remains, and His covenant purposes for Israel have not been discarded.

02

A faith exclusive to Jewish people

We reject the idea that biblical faith is exclusive to Jewish people. Jewish and Gentile believers are welcome and united in Messiah.

03

An anti-church posture

Whole-Bible faith is not an anti-church posture. We respect and partner with other Christian denominations.

Not a blacklist.
An honest account.

Correct and sound doctrine matters for salvation and spiritual growth. These clarifications are offered plainly and pastorally, not combatively.

The point is not to manufacture suspicion or win an argument. It is to help a serious visitor understand what Corner Fringe means when we speak about God, Messiah, salvation, Israel, Torah, and the wider body of Messiah.

Questions are welcome

If a term here is unfamiliar, or if you want to understand why a distinction matters, we welcome careful questions and patient conversation around Scripture.
