Read: Hear the Text Before Explaining It
This week we will live in Romans 12:3–8. Today, resist the urge to define the gifts or decide which one you may have. First, become familiar with what Paul actually says.
TODAY’S STUDY
1. Read Romans 12:3–8 slowly from beginning to end.
2. Read it again aloud. Pay attention to Paul’s movement from the individual, to the body, to the gifts.
3. Read it a third time and write down only what immediately stands out to you.
